Frode Wiggen: About the Author
Sr. Principal Engineer – Inspection Management, DNV GL
Frode Wiggen has been working in the O&G Integrity Management field since 1990, consulting on integrity management issues for most upstream oil and gas operators in the North Sea. Throughout this period, Mr. Wiggen has contributed in the development of international standards and guidelines for inspection management of topside containment systems. In recent years he has focused his attention on Corrosion Under Insulation and served as technical lead on the development of a new methodology for risk management of CUI. This methodology is described in DNVGL RP G109 rev. 2019. Prior to joining DNV GL in 1997, Mr. Wiggen held positions with ConocoPhillips and Oceaneering.
