Samer E. Ibrahim

Samer Ibrahim is an academic researcher at Robert Gordon University. He possesses over 17 years of experience in Asset Integrity Management (AIM) for onshore and offshore assets, with an extensive background in writing welding procedures and qualification records. He has conducted hundreds of lab tests and failure analyses on wide range of material grades, along with welding inspections using conventional and advanced non-destructive testing on onshore and offshore equipment such as subsea manifolds, PLEMs, PLETs, piping, pipelines, FCCUs, platforms, jackets and jumpers. Mr. Ibrahim earned his B.S. in Production Engineering from Alexandria, Egypt and a Master of Science degree in Quality Management from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom.
