Dr. Ted Anderson is one of the top experts and educators on cracks and fracture in the world. He is the author of the #1 best-selling textbook in this field. Before his industry leadership, Ted was an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University and a Senior Research Engineer at The Welding Institute (TWI). He holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgy from the Colorado School of Mines. In addition to his textbook, he has published over 100 articles, and is a principal author of the API/ASME Fitness-for-Service Standard (API 579).
