Rami Mattar is an engineer and technology analyst for Amerapex Corporation. He has over 6 years of experience in the oil and gas NDT sector. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Laser and Optoelectronics engineering in 2005. And another M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Cardiff University, Cardiff, United Kingdom, in 2012. In 2011, Mr. Mattar joined Visitech International, Sunderland, United Kingdom, as an Instrumentations Engineer. In 2013, he joined Amerapex Corporation, Houston, Texas, United States. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). He has research papers published in the European Laser Society, and his work is a reference in the Laser Handbook that is published by the Swedish Laser Society. He invented the concept of contact-NDT inspection method using UAVs and he is currently managing Amerapex R&D projects.
