Abdelmounam Sherik is currently working as Research Science Consultant for Saudi Aramco Research and Development Center, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Abdelmounam holds a B.Sc in materials science and engineering from Tripoli University, Libya and M.Sc. and Ph.D in materials and metallurgical engineering from Queen’s University, Canada. He has over 25 years of professional experience in the areas of materials and corrosion. Abdelmounam has over 100 publications and several patents in the areas corrosion and materials and is an active member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Society for Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
