T. Blake Stermer is a mechanical integrity inspector with 20 years’ experience in the petrochemical industry. Blake’s inspector experience was preceded by an NDE background which started in 1992 with a diploma in NDT at T.H. Harris Technical College in which he was named the top graduating student with a “Top Gun” award. Shortly thereafter, Blake’s began working for ExxonMobil at their Baton Rouge Refinery where he held many roles. In 2016, Blake began employment with Sentinel Integrity Solutions as the Louisiana Division – Sr. Mechanical Integrity & Turnaround Consultant. His duties include providing technical support for the company, mentoring inspectors, RBI support for clients, participating in turnaround activities in a leadership role, as well as execution of inspections on critical path equipment.
