Mohammed Siddiqui

Mohammed Siddiqui is a Mechanical Integrity Engineer at Air Liquide. Before joining Air Liquide he worked as a Process Engineer for Mistras Group. He earned his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering and Science from The Johns Hopkins University – EP. He is also a certified Risk Based Inspection Professional.

The main intention of this article is to introduce the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) using some of the elements of critical thinking as a guide. This methodology is not often used in the industry, but can be widely used by corrosion/process engineers to identify hot spots where local maximums of corrosion rates exist.
