Ian D. Smith, P.Eng.

Ian Smith is a Senior Consulting Engineer with over 15 years of experience as a pipeline engineer and currently leads the pipeline engineering services group for Quest Integrity. The group performs fitness-for-service assessments using API 579 including metal loss, crack, pressure cycle fatigue, and dent strain analyses and provides integrity management services. Previously, Smith developed and managed pipeline integrity and inline inspection programs for a pipeline operator and has managed ILI data analysis and assessment groups as well.
