Rajesh Bose (Raj) is an Inspection Engineer/SME with BP Upstream Technology and has 20 years of inspection and NDT experience in the oil and gas (both upstream and downstream), petrochemical, steel and power generation industries. Currently, his primary role is to support safe and reliable operations by driving the development and integrated related technology, work with the deployment team to assure proper installation of new NDT techniques, and assist in forming technology development strategies and plans for effective subsea inspection. Raj supports and participates in different business unit's technology plans as a consultant and leads specific R&D projects pertaining to the development and qualification of novel NDT techniques. Raj has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's degree in Business Administration and is a chartered Engineer. His certifications include ASNT Level III in UT, RT, MT, PT, VT and ET, AWS Certified Welding Inspector, API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector, API 570 Piping Inspector and ISO 9000 Lead Auditor.
